Mélissa Laveaux 'Angeli-ko' - Oui Love - New French Music

Mélissa Laveaux ‘Angeli-ko’

While touring her new album Radyo Siwèl, Mélissa Laveaux has released a video for her track ‘Angeli-ko’. It depicts the US occupation of Haiti during the early decades of the 20th century, Haiti’s decolonisation and the empowerement of Haitian women.

It’s all in the form of a colorful video by Kelzang Ravach and Marion Castera that overtly references Fauvist paintings.
