JB Dunckel ‘H+’

21/03/2018

JB Dunckel, aka one half of the French electronic duo AIR, is back with H+, his first album under his own name. This album is the result of a solo adventure started under the pseudonym Darkel in 2006, and after several successful collaborations with the British artist Lou Hayter for the project Tomorrow’s World in 2013 and Barði Jóhannsson for Starwalker in 2015.

H+ is an album that explores ideas linked to transhumanism and the future of humanity in general, particularly in our relationship with technology and how it will affect every aspect of our lives, including our love lives. But it’s also an album of epic, richly textured pop on which acoustic and electronic textures are in gorgeous harmony.
