Carpenter Brut ‘Leather Teeth’

Since Trilogy, a debut album compiling his first three EPs, Carpenter Brut has released only a few tracks, a live album in 2017, and played an incredible number of gigs around the world.

Now the synthwave master drops his new album Leather Teeth on No Quarter, which apparently tells the story of Bret Halford, a former science student who becomes Leather Teeth, the leader of rock band Leather Patrol.

The album’s eight tracks include a couple of featured vocals, on ‘Cheerleader Effect’ and ‘Beware the Beast’, from Ulver frontman Kristoffer Rygg and Hexvessel’s Mat McNerney.

Carpenter Brut will be embarking on his European Leather Patrol Tour this March, calling in at Manchester Academy on 22nd March and at Koko in London on the 23rd.
