Acid Arab ‘Gul l’Abi’

09/04/2018

Gul l’Abi‘, a collaboration between female trio A-WA and French duo Acid Arab, taken from the latter’s Musique de France album,  inspired Istanbul-based filmmaker Behsat Veyseloğlu to shoot this video for his NEULAND project.

According to director Veyseloğlu it “expresses the mergence of diverse cultures and comprehensions by prioritizing aesthetic concerns” , with the neon aesthetics and the three masked female protagonists perfectly fitting the hypnotic composition.

The video’s narration is like a mysterious rite, ending in a sensual ceremony.

Acid Arab zill be performing Friday 13th at Phonox alongside like-minded Mehmet Aslan
